Regarding the fire incident for our Pure Car Carrier, M.V. “FREMANTLE HIGHWAY”, we reported that salvors arranged by us continued their efforts to extinguish the fire and recover the situation under the command of Dutch coast guard. The fire and smoke were reduced and the temperature of the hull decreased in some places, she was towed from the accident site to a safe anchorage. The new site will be 16 km North of Schiermonnikog and Ameland, and final location for towing has not yet confirmed.

20 out of 22 personnel in hospital were discharged until July 30, with the exception of the Captain and Pilot who are being kept in hospital. We wish for their safe and swift recovery. As far as we are aware, there is no reported oil pollution due to this incident.
