Regarding the fire incident for our Pure Car Carrier, M.V. “FREMANTLE HIGHWAY”, we reported that salvors arranged by us continued their efforts to extinguish the fire and recover the situation under the command of Dutch coast guard. The salvage workers boarded the vessel at around 9:00 am (LT) on 1^st August and later they confirmed that the fire was extinguished.

The vessel are towed to Eemshaven port in the Netherlands, and the cause of the incident will be investigated in cooperation with relevant parties.

As 2 personnel (Captain, Pilot) were in hospital in the Netherlands, the pilot was discharged on August 2^nd (Local Time), while the Captain is being kept in hospital for curing.
