On 1st December, most advanced 24,000 TEU a mega container carrier M.V. ONE INGENUITY, chartered by OCEAN NETWORK EXPRESS PTE. LTD, has been delivered at the Marugame Headquarters of Imabari Shipbuilding Co. Ltd.

The vessel has conducted a trial introduction of the next-generation satellite communication service “Starlink” provided by the U.S. company SpaceX, establishing a better environment to connect to the Internet anywhere at sea. The aim is to enhance the communication, and sharing the real time information between vessel and shore, and strive for further improvement in ship management. In addition, as a part of the crew’s welfare, there are plans to improve the crew members’ future quality of life and promote well-being.

From now on, the vessel will be deployed on the Asia-Europe route, contributing to supporting global logistics.
