Our Pure Car Carrier, M.V. “FREMANTLE HIGHWAY”, was sailing to Singapore from Germany and occurred the fire incident at off the coast of Netherlands at 23:45 as the local time on 25th July, 2023 (at 06:45 as JST on 26th July, 2023).

We are now trying to extinguish the fire in cooperation with the local authorities of Netherlands, the salvor and the shipmanagement company, Wallem Shipmanagement Ltd.. We will keep on endeavoring to extinguish the fire and recover the situation as soon as possible.

There is no information on oil pollution due to this incident as of now.

Although all crew members have been evacuated from the Vessel, unfortunately one crew member has passed away. We will express our sincere condolence to the deceased.
