The 24,000 TEU containership M.V. ONE INNOVATION, delivered by Japan Marine United Corporation in 2023, and its sister vessel, M.V. ONE INFINITY, delivered by Imabari Shipbuilding Corporation, have both been awarded the prestigious “Ship of the Year 2023”.

The judges commented: “In the construction of ultra-large container ships, Japan’s two largest shipbuilding companies have joined forces in a consortium, combining their technological strengths and incorporating numerous new shipbuilding technologies. The new bow wind cover, which reduces wind resistance while simultaneously increasing the number of containers loaded, is highly innovative.” The award received high commendation.

The company will continue to strive to operate vessels of the highest quality and performance that are environmentally friendly, economical, and satisfy for both shippers and operators.
