Sponsorship of the All-Japan Rowing Championships

SHOEI KISEN KAISHA, LTD. (“SHOEI KISEN”) is honored to sponsor the 104th All-Japan Rowing Championships, to be held from 4 to 7 June 2026 at the Sea Forest Waterway in Koto Ward, Tokyo.

This event is one of the largest domestic rowing competitions in Japan, determining the nation’s top rowing teams. Since its 100th edition in 2022, the Championships have been held at the Sea Forest Waterway—the venue used for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games—as part of ongoing efforts to preserve and promote the legacy of those Games. The event also includes para-rowing competitions for athletes with disabilities.

In recent years, rowing has continued to expand as a sport. Para-rowing and indoor rowing, which is performed on rowing machines on land, are gaining popularity. In addition, interest in rowing is expected to grow further with the introduction of coastal rowing—an event conducted in open water near shorelines—at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.

As rowing, a sport closely associated with boats, continues to gain momentum, SHOEI Kisen—whose core business is ship ownership—has decided to support this event. Through this sponsorship, we hope to inspire greater interest in the maritime industry among athletes, event organizers, and visitors alike.
